Westpark Teachers Go All In, PTA Earns Golden Apple Honor.

Westpark Elementary had a sweet reason to celebrate this week as teachers and staff helped the campus earn the Golden Apple Award from Texas PTA.

The recognition marks a big milestone with 100 percent of full-time faculty joining and supporting the Westpark PTA.

That level of buy-in made Westpark the very first PTA in Fort Worth ISD to reach the Golden Apple standard. To celebrate the achievement, the Fort Worth ISD Council of PTAs surprised the campus with a caramel apple bar that quickly became the highlight of the day.

Behind the treats was a deeper win for the school community. Full support from teachers and staff strengthens the PTA’s ability to advocate for students, programs, and campus needs. Westpark families say that kind of teamwork makes a real difference for Wildcats both in and out of the classroom.

For Westpark, the award is less about the apples and more about the people who show up every day for kids and each other.
