Benbrook Antique Mall is opening its doors to a couple of new hires and inviting locals to join one of the most relaxed and unique work environments in town.
The shop is currently looking to bring on two cashiers who are available to work weekends. Starting pay is $10 an hour, with an increase to $11 an hour after three months of solid performance. Additional raises are based on time and the quality of the work.
Ideal candidates have some retail experience, are comfortable reading cursive, and can handle standing for longer shifts during busy rushes. Basic keyboard skills, efficient typing, and the ability to multitask while keeping a friendly attitude are essential. A love for antiques and vintage finds is a bonus, but not required.
Those familiar with the store say it is an easygoing, laid-back place to work with none of the corporate red tape that often comes with retail jobs. If you enjoy helping customers, staying busy, and working around one-of-a-kind items, this could be a great fit.
