A handful of bright young students from Waverly Park Elementary spent their Saturday representing their school at the Texas Health Community Hope Growing Strong student health summit, hosted at Benbrook Middle-High School.
The event brought together students from across the district for a day focused on movement, mindfulness, well-being, and literacy. It was a celebration of learning and growth, filled with energy and encouragement from local volunteers, sponsors, and school spirit groups who made the day memorable.
Thanks to Texas Health and the many partners involved, students left inspired to make healthy choices and lead with confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
