Westside Community Opens Its Doors for Free Thanksgiving Meal.

Westside Presbyterian Church welcomed neighbors from across Fort Worth for a warm and generous Thanksgiving gathering.

Hosted by the Fort Worth Community Collaborative, the event offered a full holiday meal at no cost, creating a space where anyone could enjoy the classics, share conversation, or simply pick up a plate to go.

The meal was served from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the church’s back entrance at 8700 Chapin Rd., giving residents a chance to slow down and connect before the holiday rush. Families, individuals, and anyone needing a place at the table were invited to stop in and enjoy a true community moment.

Events like this one highlight the steady heartbeat of the west Fort Worth area, where neighbors continue to look out for each other through simple acts of care.
