A simple idea turned into something meaningful at Westpark Elementary, thanks to the generosity of the Wildcat community.
Since October, donations have powered the school’s first Wildcat Snack Packs program, providing weekly snack packs for students, weekend meals, and extra food during Thanksgiving. In just a few months, the effort has supported 11 families and 12 students, with another meal heading home this week.
The impact reached beyond food. Community giving also helped meet the Christmas needs of three families, providing clothing, jackets, and toys during a season when support matters most.
School leaders expressed deep gratitude to families, neighbors, and supporters for their kindness. The success of the program highlights how a caring community can quietly make a real difference in the lives of local students.
