For one Western Hills senior, years of work in the classroom and on the field have come together in a moment worth celebrating.
Alexander Richmond has been recognized as a 2026 High School Scholar-Athlete by the National Football Foundation and the College Hall of Fame, through its Gridiron Club of Dallas chapter. The honor highlights student-athletes who stand out not only for their performance on the field but also for their commitment to academics and leadership.
Richmond represented both Fort Worth ISD and Western Hills High School during the selection process, earning recognition among the region’s top student-athletes.
Western Hills Co-Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach Blake Moilan shared his support, congratulating Richmond on the achievement and the way he carried himself throughout.
It’s a well-earned honor for Richmond, and a big win for Western Hills, with the kind of story people around here can appreciate.
