Benbrook and Fort Worth residents soaked up the joy and sunshine on June 27 as the Betsy Price Community Center officially opened its doors.

Adding flavor to the celebration was Funky Town Freeze, serving up icy treats and hometown pride.

For Funky Town’s founder, the moment was more than just a gig. It was a full-circle experience, giving back to the very community that helped raise her.

With snow cones, smiles, and even a snapshot with Betsy Price herself, the grand opening wasn’t just about a new building. It was about connection, community, and plenty of cool memories.
