For families who could use a little help keeping groceries on the table this month, several mobile food pantry stops are scheduled across Tarrant County throughout September.
The September calendar includes distributions at Crosspoint Nazarene Church, Blue Mound Food Pantry, St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Lighthouse Fellowship, United Community Wesley Center, Glenview Baptist Church, and Tarrant County College.
The first mobile distribution is Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crosspoint Nazarene Church, 3000 NW Loop 820. Additional locations and times continue throughout the month, including several recurring Monday and Tuesday distributions.
Families can also search for nearby food assistance anytime through the Tarrant Area Food Bank Find Food tool.
Community Link also provides food assistance by appointment Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. You can make appointments by calling 817-847-4554 or visiting Community Link Mission.
Community Storehouse, 12001 Katy Road in Fort Worth, is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 817-431-3340.
