Calling all young creatives! Rolling Hills Elementary School in Benbrook offers students in grades 3 through 5 a chance to transform their imaginations into interactive games with its new after-school Video Game Animation Club.
Starting January 28, the program, hosted by The Pierce Institute for Academic Excellence, will empower students to design, code, and share their very own video games.
This engaging program is perfect for beginners and those with some coding experience. Participants will:
- Master Scratch to create animations and interactive games.
- Learn basic Python coding to expand their programming skills.
- Build and share video games with classmates.
Class Details:
- When: Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 PM, from January 28 to May 23, 2025 (12 classes).
- Breaks: No classes on March 18, April 8, April 15, or April 22.
- Cost: $95 for the first 6 classes or $175 for all 12.
- Where: Rolling Hills Elementary, 10351 Orchard Way, Benbrook, TX 76126.
