Rain Didn’t Stop Westpark’s Beautification Day.

Not even the rain could keep Benbrook residents from rolling up their sleeves for Westpark Elementary’s annual Beautification Day.

Armed with shovels, gloves, and umbrellas, volunteers spent Saturday morning planting flowers, spreading mulch, pulling weeds, and cleaning up the campus between downpours. The effort not only brightened the school grounds but also strengthened community pride and connection.

Special thanks went out to Silver Creek Materials for donating mulch and Home Depot for providing the colorful blooms that now line the school’s entrance. The refreshed flower beds and tidy grounds are proof that a little teamwork—and a lot of puddle jumping—go a long way.
