BENBROOK, TX — Julius Michael Canale I, a longtime Coatesville resident and U.S. Marine Corps veteran, passed away on June 3, 2025, at age 85 while living with his daughter Julia Michelle Nusrallah and her family in Benbrook. He had relocated to Texas in 2024.
Known as Mike to friends and family, he was a man of many passions. He found joy in traveling, golfing, and skiing, and spent countless hours boating on the Chesapeake. A lover of history and a fierce competitor on family game nights, he cherished time with loved ones most of all.
The family will hold a private memorial service. A Veterans’ Memorial Service, including Marine Corps honors, will take place at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a future date.
In place of flowers, donations may be made in Mike’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
