BENBROOK, TX — Jeffrey John Cheney passed away on December 16, 2025, after a 27-year battle with throat cancer. He was remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a man whose faith shaped every part of his life.
Cheney spent his final days surrounded by family, including his wife of 43 years, Diane. He found joy in time with his children and grandchildren, trips to the gun range with his son and son in law Justin Rogers, and in sharing wisdom drawn from a life well lived. He was also deeply committed to growing in his faith, regularly studying Scripture with his neighborhood Bible study.
Those who knew him describe a steady presence marked by love for the Lord, commitment to family, and a quiet strength that endured through decades of illness.
