BENBROOK, Texas. The Western Hills community is mourning the loss of longtime teacher and coach Heath Jackson, who died Aug. 21 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 59.
Jackson, of Weatherford, spent years investing in students and athletes, but his family says the foundation of his life was his faith. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Jackson’s faith shaped his passion for serving others and loving people well.
Jackson will be laid to rest at Bethel Methodist Cemetery, near the Jackson family home.
His death is felt across the Western Hills community, where he spent 11 years teaching Graphic Design and serving student-athletes as a football coach and head wrestling coach.
