If your ideal summer read includes unexpected twists, clever detectives, or edge-of-your-seat suspense, the Benbrook Public Library has a shelf waiting for you.
The Friends of Benbrook Library have launched a Mystery & Thriller Pop-Up Sale, featuring everything from classic whodunits and crime novels to legal thrillers and spy adventures. The donation-based sale runs through August 1 during regular library hours and is located on the shelves near the vending machine.
There are no set prices. Take home a single book or a stack and donate what you think they’re worth. Cash is accepted, though exact change is requested, and card payments are available for donations over $1.
Every purchase helps support library programs, resources, and services that benefit the Benbrook community.
