Spring sports season is underway, and Benbrook High School invites the community to come out and meet the athletes representing the hometown Bobcats on the baseball and softball fields.
Meet the Bobcats takes place Saturday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dutch Branch Park, located at 1300 Dutch Branch Park. The event gives residents a chance to connect with players, coaches, and families while celebrating the start of another season of Bobcat baseball and softball.
The day is designed to be family-friendly and relaxed. Kids can enjoy free face painting and a dunk tank while fans test their swing in a home run derby. A silent auction, vendors, and classic ballpark concessions will also be part of the festivities.
Events like this have become a simple way for the community to gather around local student athletes. It is a chance to shake hands, meet the teams, and cheer on the players who spend countless hours practicing and representing the school across North Texas.
Residents are encouraged to bring the family, enjoy the afternoon outdoors, and get to know the hometown Bobcats before the season moves into full swing.
