A range of decisions and discussions is set for Thursday night as the Benbrook City Council gathers at City Hall for its regular meeting.
The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. at 911 Winscott Road and includes time for residents to speak on agenda items, with comments limited to three minutes per person.
One of the more notable items is a public hearing tied to Corey Waldrop’s proposed rezoning of more than 61 acres known as Rowan Ranch. The request would shift the land from a multi-family planned development to a one-family planned development, a move that could shape future housing in the area near Loop 820 between Veterans Parkway and Chapin Road.
Council will also consider appointments to the Municipal Court of Record, including Alan Bowling as judge and Wendy Cooper as associate judge.
In addition, a proclamation recognizing CASA of Tarrant County is scheduled, along with routine items such as approval of previous meeting minutes.
Residents who want to stay informed or provide input on local decisions are encouraged to attend in person or follow along through the city’s channels. The meeting will close with general comments from councilmembers and staff before adjournment.
