Benbrook’s own Western Hills Lady Cougars soccer team is closing out the season on a high note with a strong showing in this year’s All-District selections.
Three Cougars secured spots on the All-District First Team: Joceline Mendoza, Devani Acala, and Denisse Ceron. The Second Team lineup included Candace Ndekelengwe, Michelle Gutierrez, and Jaquelin Valandran. Honorable mentions were awarded to Amy Sanchez, Michelle Vega, and Brenda Gonzalez.
Each player brought heart, hustle, and skill to the field, making this recognition well-earned. As the seniors gear up for their next chapter, Benbrook celebrates their impact and looks forward to what’s ahead for the rising stars of Lady Cougars soccer.
