Fort Worth ISD Teachers Earn State Recognition and $12.3 Million in Incentives.

Fort Worth ISD has reached another milestone in recognizing classroom excellence.

The Texas Education Agency has approved the district’s Teacher Incentive Allotment designations for the 2025 to 2026 school year. This marks the fourth straight year the district has met the state’s rigorous data validation standards, a sign of consistent instructional quality across campuses.

In 2025, more than 1,000 FWISD teachers earned TIA designations, resulting in 12.3 million dollars in additional compensation tied to student growth and performance. Teachers will soon receive personalized scorecards outlining their individual designation status for 2026.

District leaders note that final designations remain pending until employment verification is complete and the Texas Education Agency issues final approval in May. The Leadership Academy Network operates under a separate state-approved TIA system, and those teachers will receive updates directly from the network.

For families across the district, the recognition highlights the impact educators are making each day in classrooms and the continued investment in rewarding strong teaching.
