Fort Worth ISD, in partnership with the Fort Worth Sports Commission and the NCAA, has launched its annual “Readers Become Leaders” competition.
Since its inception in 2019, students in pre-K through fifth grade have logged over 164 million reading minutes.
Briscoe Elementary, last year’s champion, hosted a kickoff celebration featuring Clifford the Big Red Dog and TCU athletes reading to students.
The competition runs through April 7. Students log their daily reading minutes. Watch the video below for more details.
