Fort Worth ISD Prioritizes Literacy for Student Success.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Literacy has officially taken center stage in Fort Worth ISD’s mission to empower students. Last night, the school board unanimously adopted a resolution reaffirming its commitment to ensuring all students read at grade level.

This renewed focus on literacy, backed by the City of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, emphasizes equipping every student with essential reading skills to build a brighter future for both individuals and the community.

“By putting literacy first, we’re preparing our students for success and investing in the growth of our city,” district leaders stated.

Fort Worth ISD encourages families and educators to join this initiative, fostering a culture of reading, learning, and growth.
