Benbrook residents will soon have a new place to break a sweat. A Crunch Fitness location is officially in the works, with construction scheduled to begin this September and an anticipated opening date in October 2026.
According to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the new gym will be located at 8530 Benbrook Blvd, near the storage facility and Goodwill, just behind McDonald’s. The project is estimated at $5 million and will feature a 40,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center.
Plans call for a full, ground-up build that includes modern workout spaces, locker rooms, and complete mechanical, electrical, and interior finishes. The facility will be privately funded and designed as a turnkey fitness destination for the growing Benbrook community.
The addition of Crunch Fitness marks another step in the city’s continued development along the Benbrook Boulevard corridor, giving residents more options for health and wellness close to home.
