The Western Hills High School Cougar Band is heading into one of its biggest performances of the season following a strong showing at Saturday’s Springtown Marching Contest.
The Cougars performed in the afternoon preliminary competition, then returned that evening as the exhibition band during the finals.
School officials praised the students for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication throughout the marching season.
Now, their attention turns to the UIL Marching Contest this Saturday, October 17, at Springtown High School, where the Cougar Band is scheduled to perform at 2:15 p.m.
Western Hills is encouraging families, friends, and community members to come out and support the students as they take the field for the performance they’ve been preparing for all season.
Good luck, Cougar Band!
