Western Hills tennis is back on the court, and the Cougars wasted little time putting their first win on the board.
Playing with a partial roster, the Cougars opened the season last week against Northside and battled its way to a close 7-6 victory over the Steers.
The Cougars return home Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 4 p.m. against O.D. Wyatt at McLeland Tennis Center. Their fall schedule also includes two matches against nearby Benbrook, with the first set for Sept. 3 and a rematch Sept. 22.
Western Hills will also face Diamond Hill-Jarvis, Everman and Polytechnic during the fall season.
Not a bad way to start the season, especially with a short-handed squad. The Cougars are back on the court Tuesday, with plenty more tennis ahead this fall.
