Cougars Gearing Up: Western Hills Sets Sights on a Huge 2025 Football Season

Benbrook, get ready—the Western Hills Cougars are charging into the 2025 football season with grit, grind, and gridiron goals.

After a relentless off-season of weight training, multi-sport hustle, and early prep, the Cougars are locked in and laser-focused. With spring football now underway, even without pads, every practice and athletic period is fueling the fire. Thanks to Coach Rock and Coach Caballero keeping the weight room buzzing after school, the energy is sky-high and contagious.

Circle your calendars: the season opener kicks off with a Saturday clash against the North Side Steers. From there, the Cougars hit the road for four straight matchups across the DFW metroplex—testing their toughness early.

District play heats up on September 26 with a pivotal game against Eastern Hills. And then comes one of the most electric nights of the year—Homecoming, October 3. Expect a packed house, roaring fans, and Friday night lights at full tilt.

Following a much-needed bye week, the Cougars close the season with a gauntlet: Decatur, Springtown, Southwest, and Carter Riverside—all standing between them and a shot at postseason play.

If discipline, drive, and unity win games, Western Hills is ready to bring it. Cougar Nation, it’s time to rally. This fall, the Cougars aren’t just playing—they’re coming to dominate.
