It’s shaping up to be an exciting week at Benbrook Elementary, where students, families, and staff are celebrating school pride with a full lineup of events blending learning, laughter, and community spirit.
The week kicks off with Red Ribbon Week (October 27–31), encouraging students to stand tall and live drug-free through themed dress-up days including red, neon, crazy socks, and camo. The celebration wraps up Friday with a colorful Storybook Parade, where students bring their favorite characters to life.
On Monday, October 27, families can head to Chick-fil-A Benbrook from 5 to 8 p.m. for Spirit Night. Mention “Bulldogs” when ordering (or enter the code on mobile orders) and 10% of sales will benefit the school.
Then on Tuesday, October 28, the fun rolls on with Spooky Costume Skate Night at Rollerland West from 6 to 8 p.m. Benbrook Elementary students skate free, while parents pay $6 plus tax. Costumes are encouraged for this night of Halloween-themed family fun.
To end the week, the Book Fair opens Friday after the parade, giving students and families a chance to discover new reads while supporting the school library.
