Homecoming week is in full swing at Benbrook Middle-High School, and the excitement is building with a lineup of events leading into the big weekend celebration. Students, families, and alumni are all invited to join the festivities that highlight school pride and community spirit.
The fun begins with Homecoming Court nominations, which run through October 21. Students can find ballots in the office or with their advisory teachers.
On Thursday, October 23, the annual Homecoming Parade steps off at 9 a.m. from 201 Overcrest Dr., bringing music, school spirit, and a few creative floats to the streets of Benbrook.
Friday night lights shine on October 24, when the Benbrook Bobcats hit the field at Herman Clark Stadium, 5201 CA Roberson Blvd. in Fort Worth. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m., and fans are encouraged to wear green and gold to cheer on their team.
The celebration continues on Saturday, October 25, with the Homecoming Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. in the school’s large gym. This year’s theme, “Enchanted Forest,” promises an evening of music, fun, and memories for students.
Those wishing to support the event can donate supplies or dance decorations through the QR codes provided by the school.
