Spring training is underway for Benbrook football, and early testing numbers are already turning heads.
During the Phase 1 testing week at Benbrook Middle-High School, players participated in strength and speed evaluations that highlighted offseason progress and prepared them for the upcoming season.
Sophomore Aiden Carpenter delivered one of the standout performances in the weight room with five repetitions of a 505-pound squat, a strong showing of offseason strength development.
On the track, junior Dorien Johnson posted an impressive 4.49-second time in the 40-yard dash during speed testing, another sign that the Bobcats are making gains in both power and quickness.

Moments like these are part of the foundation being built throughout the offseason as Benbrook athletes continue putting in the work ahead of next football season.
