Summer is winding down, and Benbrook Middle-High School is getting ready to welcome students back with a full slate of events and important dates you’ll want to lock in.
Things kick off Thursday, July 31, with two big events. Sixth graders get their own camp from 9 AM to noon in the middle school gym, while ninth graders will head to the auditorium that evening from 6 to 8 PM for orientation.
Teachers officially return on Monday, August 4, to prepare for the new school year. Then on Sunday, August 10, the Class of 2025 starts their final year with a 6:30 AM Senior Sunrise at the BMHS Stadium.
The first official day of school is Tuesday, August 12, so set your alarms early. And if you’re the type who likes to meet the teachers and walk the halls, don’t miss Open House on Wednesday, August 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
For all students in grades 6 through 12, school will run from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM this year. So grab your gear, plan ahead, and get ready to make this school year count.
