Benbrook’s Martinez Closes Summer Strong Before College Baseball Debut.

Benbrook baseball fans have one more reason to be excited about the future.

Class of 2026 graduate and Bobcat standout Sebastian “Chevy” Martinez wrapped up his summer collegiate league season in impressive fashion, delivering four no-hit innings with eight strikeouts in his final appearance for MVP Baseball NTX.

The right-handed pitcher showed command from the first pitch, capping off a strong summer before taking the next step in his baseball journey.

Martinez now heads to Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, Oklahoma, where he’ll continue his playing career this fall. The former Bobcat earned a reputation for his competitiveness and consistency during his time at Benbrook Middle-High School and now has the opportunity to showcase his talents at the collegiate level.

Congratulations to Chevy Martinez on an outstanding summer and this exciting next chapter. Benbrook will be cheering him on as he begins his college baseball career at Western Oklahoma State College.
