Needle and Thread are making a comeback, and Benbrook kids are getting in on the action.
The Benbrook Community Center YMCA is hosting a hands-on Sewing Camp from July 28 to August 1, offering children ages 7 to 12 a fun way to explore fashion, design, and creativity.
Each afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m., young creators will learn how to safely use sewing machines, practice hand stitching, sketch out their designs, and bring two to three custom projects to life by the end of the week. No experience is needed. Just curiosity and imagination.
The camp cost runs between $150 and $175, depending on membership status. This is an excellent way for kids to explore a valuable life skill while building confidence and having fun.
