If you’ve recently searched online for the Benbrook Senior Center and were met with a “permanently closed” notice, you’re not alone.
The confusion is understandable, especially since the old location on Mercedes Street was torn down to make room for the new city hall.
But here’s the good news: the center is still very much active, just in a new spot. You’ll now find them at 911 Winscott Road, inside the new city hall building. They’ve continued hosting events and activities for local seniors, and the best way to stay updated is through their Facebook page, where they post calendars, updates, and event details.
