Benbrook, mark your calendars! The Benbrook Public Library (BPL) is gearing up for its first-ever Library Giving Day on April 1, joining a nationwide movement to support public libraries through community donations.
Since its launch in 2019 by The Seattle Public Library Foundation, Library Giving Day (LGD) has raised over $8.5 million for libraries across the U.S. and Canada. This year, North Texas is hosting its own version, with BPL and 25 other library groups participating.
Excitingly, BPL has secured a corporate sponsor for signage and is teaming up with NBC5 and Telemundo39 to spread the word.
