Benbrook Principal Named Finalist for FWISD Principal of the Year.

Benbrook is celebrating a big win in the world of education this week.

Samantha Gonzalez, principal of Benbrook Elementary School, has been named one of six finalists for the Fort Worth ISD Principal of the Year award. The recognition highlights her outstanding leadership and daily impact on students, staff, and the broader school community.

The finalists include three leaders from elementary campuses and three from secondary schools across the district. All six were honored with a $250 surprise check from EECU, acknowledging their dedication to shaping lives and building strong school environments.
