A proposed commercial development along Benbrook Boulevard will be among the items considered when the Benbrook Planning and Zoning Commission meets Thursday, June 11, at Benbrook City Hall, 911 Winscott Road.
The commission will begin with a work session at 7 p.m. in the Executive Conference Room, followed by its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers. A quorum of the Benbrook City Council may also be in attendance.
The primary item on the agenda is a public hearing and review of a preliminary plat for approximately 5.3 acres located west of the intersection of Benbrook Boulevard and Stevens Drive at 11370 Benbrook Boulevard. The property is zoned Commercial District and would be subdivided into one non-residential lot.
Commissioners will also consider approval of the May 14 meeting minutes and receive staff reports related to the proposed plat.
While the agenda is relatively brief, the proposed commercial plat represents another step in the development process for property along one of Benbrook’s busiest corridors.
Residents interested in future growth and development projects are encouraged to attend or follow the commission’s actions as all agenda items remain subject to final approval.
