Benbrook Planning and Zoning Commission Sets 2026 Focus at Feb. 12 Work Session.

Benbrook residents interested in the city’s growth and long-range planning have a chance to listen in and learn more this week as the Planning and Zoning Commission meets for a work session on Thursday, February 12.

The meeting begins at 7 pm at City Hall, located at 911 Winscott Road, inside the Executive Conference Room. This is a discussion-only session, meaning no formal votes or actions will be taken.

Commissioners will hear citizen comments, review items recently approved by staff, and spend time discussing potential zoning ordinance updates for 2026. That includes state-required changes and possible updates to zoning districts and overlay standards.

The group will also talk through next steps following the city’s 2025 Comprehensive Plan review, helping shape how Benbrook grows in the years ahead.

Residents who want insight into future zoning and planning priorities will find this meeting especially informative.
