Benbrook residents interested in growth, development, and city planning may want to mark their calendars for Thursday, January 8, 2026. The Benbrook Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at Benbrook City Hall, located at 911 Winscott Road, for its first meeting of the year.
The evening begins with a pre-commission work session at 7:00 pm in the Executive Conference Room. Commissioners will introduce themselves, review items scheduled for the regular meeting, discuss any items that were administratively reviewed or approved by staff, and administer oaths if needed. A quorum of the Benbrook City Council may also be present.
The regular meeting follows at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers. Residents will have an opportunity to offer comments on any agenda item before the commission moves into official business. The agenda includes selecting a chairperson and vice chairperson, as well as approving the minutes from the December 11, 2025, regular meeting. No staff reports are scheduled for this session.
