Benbrook Hiring School Crossing Guards for 2026-27 School Year.

As another school year approaches, the City of Benbrook is seeking volunteers to help keep students safe during some of the busiest times of the day.

The city is currently hiring school crossing guards for the 2026-27 school year. The position involves assisting children and families safely across streets before and after school during morning and afternoon shifts.

Crossing guards will earn $16 per hour and work approximately 12.5 hours each week.

For many parents, crossing guards are a familiar and reassuring part of the school routine, helping students navigate traffic safely and creating a visible presence on campuses and in neighborhoods.

Applications can be completed online through the City of Benbrook Job Center or submitted in person at the Benbrook Municipal Complex.
