Last October, as wildfires burned across Israel during a time of war, help was needed fast. One of Benbrook’s own answered.
Captain Howard Haber of the Benbrook Fire Department traveled overseas to assist Israeli fire crews battling dangerous blazes under extraordinary conditions. Those who know him describe a steady leader who shows up when it matters most. This time, the call came from thousands of miles away.
