Fresh produce, homemade treats, and local finds are back this weekend as the Benbrook Artisans’ & Farmers Market returns Sunday, May 3, at Dutch Branch Park.
Hosted with support from the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation, the market will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. near the YMCA at 1899 Winscott Road.
It is the kind of Saturday stop that feels simple but somehow turns into a full morning. You come for tomatoes or honey and leave with fresh bread, candles, dog treats, and probably a conversation with someone you know.
Local farmers and artisans will offer a wide variety of seasonal produce, plants, flowers, baked goods, sweet treats, local honey, artisanal cheeses, meats, preserves, tamales, soaps, body products, jewelry, art, and garden items.
The market has become a steady favorite for residents looking to shop local while supporting small businesses and makers right here in the community.
Dutch Branch Park offers plenty of room to stroll, browse, and enjoy the day without rushing through it.
