Benbrook fans had plenty to cheer about last Thursday night as the Bobcats delivered a powerhouse performance, racking up a season-high 76 points in their victory over the Venus Bulldogs.
At first glance, the score looked more like a basketball game than football, but this offensive explosion left no doubt that the Bobcats came to dominate.
Behind sophomore quarterback Jaxyn Donartโs 205 passing yards and six touchdowns, and Malik Wilsonโs two trips to the end zone, Benbrookโs offense couldnโt be contained. The team also bulldozed its way to 435 rushing yards, the most theyโve logged all year.
The win lifts Benbrook to a 6-4 overall record and 4-1 in district play, placing them firmly in second as they prepare for another playoff run. The Bulldogs, now 0-10, simply couldnโt slow them down, but the Bobcats know every game ahead will demand their best.
Stay tuned for updates as Benbrook sets its sights on postseason action and aims to keep their winning momentum rolling.
