The Benbrook Bobcats broke new ground Friday night, securing their first win in program history against the Fort Worth Dunbar Wildcats in a high-energy showdown.
The final score? A decisive 62-48 victory that left the home crowd roaring with pride. Leading the charge for the Bobcats were Brennan Barton and Jacorey Head, who delivered stellar performances:
- Brennan Barton: 23 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals
- Jacorey Head: 15 points, 5 rebounds, and an impressive 66.7% shooting from the field
Headโs consistency earned him the title of Benbrook Player of the Game, while Bartonโs performance marked his fourth consecutive game of increased point production.
Kade Cross also contributed to the win, adding six points and continuing his steady improvement over the last three games.
This victory marks the second straight win for the Bobcats, improving their season record to 13-11 and their district record to 3-1.
