From the Salem witch trials to singing in the rain, Benbrook Middle-High School Theatre Arts is showing off its range!
The Bobcats wrapped up their production of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible this past weekend, trading comedy for a dramatic look at fear, suspicion, and the hysteria surrounding the Salem witch trials.
But the talent didn’t stop at the stage. BMHS students designed and built the sets, handled lighting, and created the production’s special effects, including making it rain onstage!
Missed the show? There’s another chance to see these young performers and their behind-the-scenes crew in action.
BMHS Theatre Arts will return May 6-8, 2027, with its spring musical, Singin’ in the Rain.
And judging by what these students have already accomplished, the rain might just be real!
