After a dominant win over the Howe Bulldogs, the Benbrook Bobcats faced a tougher challenge Friday, falling 49-44 to the Perrin-Whitt Pirates.
Despite the loss, the Bobcats showed grit. Jacorey Head continued his stellar play, recording a career-high 13 points and pulling down eight rebounds. Brennan Barton also made his presence felt, adding 11 points and seven rebounds in a balanced offensive effort.
The loss drops Benbrook to 11-10 on the season, while Perrin-Whitt improves to 15-4, having won nine of their last 11 games.
