A trip to the hardware store might not normally be part of your Independence Day plans, but Benbrook Ace Hardware is hoping to change that.
The locally owned store is inviting neighbors to stop by for its Customer Appreciation Day Cookout on Friday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 9459 Benbrook Blvd.
The event, themed “Get Fired Up for Freedom,” will feature free hot dogs, popsicles, giveaways, and family-friendly fun to thank the community for its continued support.
In announcing the event, Ace Hardware shared a simple message: “You aren’t just customers. You’re our neighbors.”
Customer appreciation events have become a tradition for many locally focused businesses, and this one offers residents a chance to celebrate the holiday, meet fellow neighbors, and enjoy a free lunch along the way.
The event is free and open to the public.
