Behind the Scenes of TCU Football’s 2026 Season.

Football season may still be a few months away, but excitement is already building around the TCU Horned Frogs.

Fans who missed the debut of Acre & Iron now have a chance to catch up on the behind-the-scenes series documenting TCU’s journey toward the 2026 season.

The show follows players and coaches through offseason workouts, meetings, practices, travel, and team-building moments as the Horned Frogs prepare for the challenges ahead.

Much like the popular Hard Knocks format, Acre & Iron and its companion series Carter Boys offer an all-access look inside the program, giving fans a closer view of the people and preparation behind Saturdays in the fall.

The countdown to kickoff is already underway. Several key dates are approaching, including single-game ticket sales beginning June 29, Big 12 Media Days on July 7-8, and the First Down Frogs Women’s Clinic on August 5.

The season officially kicks off August 29 when TCU faces North Carolina in Dublin, Ireland, before returning home for its September 12 home opener against Grambling State.

For Horned Frog fans across Benbrook and Fort Worth, football season is getting closer, and Acre & Iron offers an early glimpse at the work being done long before the lights come on.
