Aledo Homeowner Removes About 20 Rattlesnakes From Under Home.

Most homeowners expect to find the occasional spider or forgotten box beneath the house. One Aledo homeowner reportedly found something far less inviting.

Dallas Fort Worth Wildlife Control says a homeowner named Sheila removed approximately 20 rattlesnakes from beneath an Aledo-area home. Even more remarkable, the company says she had already removed the snakes herself by the time its wildlife specialist arrived.

“Job well done Sheila,” the company shared, while posing a question most of us would probably answer pretty quickly: Could you crawl beneath a house in a dark space surrounded by venomous rattlesnakes?

For Benbrook-area residents, the encounter is also a timely reminder that snakes can take shelter beneath homes and in other protected spaces. Handling venomous snakes yourself can be extremely dangerous and is best left to trained professionals.
