As the last traces of winter weather fade around Benbrook, there is a small but important story unfolding at the Benbrook Public Library.
While many waited for roads and sidewalks to clear, Gary, the library’s Facilities Specialist, was already at work.
Over the past two mornings, Gary made sure the library parking lot and walkways were safe and ready for visitors. His early starts helped ensure that families, readers, and staff could return without worry once conditions improved.
It is the kind of behind-the-scenes work that often goes unnoticed, but it matters. If you see Gary around the library, a simple thank you goes a long way.
