Ever wonder where your PTA donations actually go? At Westpark Elementary, the answer includes classroom supplies, student activities, school improvements, and support for teachers and families.
According to the Westpark Wildcats PTA, more than $105,000 has been spent supporting 385 students, with funding directed toward several areas:
- $25,000: Classroom supplies, teacher stipends, instructional materials, and educational programs such as Accelerated Reader and Target Math.
- $23,000: Student activities and experiences.
- $12,000: Family and community events.
- $7,000: Staff hospitality and support.
- $2,000: School improvements.
The PTA is now encouraging families and neighbors to support its Great Wildcat Give fundraiser, helping provide resources that benefit students while easing some of the expenses teachers might otherwise cover themselves.
Every contribution, large or small, helps support the programs and experiences Westpark students enjoy throughout the school year.
