A Benbrook library card can open the door to a little family exploring during Hispanic Heritage Month, and the kitchen might be a good place to start.
The Benbrook Public Library is pointing families to NewsBank, a free digital resource available to cardholders with recipes and traditional activities that can help families learn about Hispanic cultures together.
Hispanic Heritage Month runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, making the next few weeks an opportunity to try a new recipe, learn about a tradition or simply spend some time discovering the stories and cultures represented throughout the Hispanic community.
Benbrook library cardholders can access NewsBank online. More programs and activities can be found on the library’s event calendar.
