An early-morning crash is affecting traffic and power along Benbrook Boulevard.

A firefighter awaits a tow truck to remove a vehicle that rolled over in Thursday morning’s crash near the trees between the Benbrook baseball fields and Benbrook Stables.

Just after 6 a.m. Thursday, Benbrook emergency crews responded near Kenshire Drive after a vehicle reportedly struck an electrical pole and overturned, according to dispatch information reported by CrimeRadar.app.

Crews are on scene providing care, investigating the crash and redirecting traffic. The damaged pole also reportedly caused a power outage affecting nearby residents and traffic signals along the U.S. 377 corridor.

US 377 North was down to one lane with firefighters block lane closest to shoulder. Drivers should avoid the area and use an alternate route while crews work the scene.

The extent of any injuries has not yet been confirmed. This same stretch saw another crash not long ago that also took out the Benbrook sign.
